Extra Long Shower Curtain Liner

You should, in most cases get a shower curtain liner to match the extra long shower curtains themselves. This will prolong the life of the shower curtain considerably. You will often see liners described as being of "hotel quality". This is a good sign as they will likely be very durable. Some other things to bear in mind when buying a liner is that it's main purpose is to keep water off the shower curtain itself and this can leave it exposed to bacteria and mould. Therefore any liner you buy should have solid anti mildew, mould and bacteria protection built in. Look for liners that specify at least 5-guage vinyl. Liners that come with magnets on the bottom are also a good choice because they help keep the liner inside the bath tub so that water cannot leave the bath or shower and end up damaging your floor or walls. Liners should also be very transparent so as not to block any more light than is absolutely necessary from entering the shower.
