This gives the illusion of grommets but the curtain is hung without removing the curtain rod. You do not need to use a liner with this curtain as it has a water-repellent finish. To stop water getting onto your bathroom floor the curtain comes with magnets attached to allow it to fit snugly against the side of the bath tub. The fabric is machine washable and dry-able and although it is opaque, the top half of the curtain is a slightly lighter shade so that more light does penetrate.
